the appreciation of chamber music through the development of educational programs, and
cultivate connection and understanding among people of diverse backgrounds and cultures

REMEMBERING KIP WEEKS
The year has ended on a sad note with the passing of Kip Weeks on December 31. Kip was a member of the Apple Hill Board of Trustees for many years and provided invaluable advice to the organization during his tenure.

Albert Herring Weeks, born April 15, 1948, died at his home in Keene, NH
on December 31, after a three year battle with brain cancer. Kip was the
son of Teresa Herring Weeks of Stonington, Connecticut and the late Louis
S. Weeks, Jr. He is also survived by his wife, Christine, his children,
Samuel and Margaret, his sister, Ann (and Arleen), his brother, Louis (and
Marjorie) and his niece and nephews; Cornelia, Louis and Edward. Kip
graduated from Lawrence Country Day School, the Brooks School and
Princeton University. He received a JD from Catholic University. He
practiced law in Keene for nearly 30 years and was the Cheshire County
Probate Court Judge until earlier this year. A service will be held in
Keene at St. James Episcopal Church on Tuesday at 11:00am. Donations in
memory of Kip may be made to the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music,
Sullivan, NH or Home Health Care & Hospice Services, Keene, NH. He will be
missed by many. He was one of a kind.
